Octavia Lenora Spencer famous as Octavia Spencer born 25 May 1972, is an American actress. She is best known for her role as "Minny" the outspoken maid in the 2011 film "The Help"

She was up for the Oscar Awards 2012 for "Best Actress In a Supporting Role" for her role in "The Help".

As we know the 84th Annual Academy Awards held at the Hollywood and Highland Center, California, USA, 26 February 2012. "The Help" for which Octavia Spencer won the Academy Award 2012 for her nomination, among other accolades including the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress, BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.
