Constantine Alexander Payne better known as Alexander Payne born February 10, 1961, is an American film director and screenwriter.

He was up for the Oscar Awards 2012 for "Best Director" for his movie in "The Descendants".

As we know the 84th Annual Academy Awards held at the Hollywood and Highland Center, California, USA, 26 February 2012.
